The centre of gravity here is the code. Twenty-plus years writing, shipping, and staying responsible for software - from C and firmware up through Linux, DevOps, and the AI systems we run for clients. If it is in production, someone has to understand it when it breaks. That is the job.
He works across the layers most shops split into four vendors: C, C++, Python, Bash, JavaScript, SQL, Git, and the operating systems those programs live on. Linux and Windows Server administration, virtualization (Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi), Docker, nginx, backups, replication, and disaster recovery are daily practice - the same operational discipline as a hosting company that still answers the phone at 2 a.m.
That hosting and infrastructure work is not adjacent to the engineering. It is the engineering. Swift Media Group has run large-scale managed platforms for business-critical sites and systems since 2012. Architecture, patching, DNS, reverse proxies, firewalls, monitoring, and migrations are done in-house so the software we write sits on machines we can actually stand behind.
The same person goes lower than web work usually requires: 32- and 64-bit embedded firmware, QNX, cross-compilation, ARM and RISC-V paths, industrial control, PLCs, SCADA, and OT networking - environments where a failure is not a 500 error, it is a plant. That is why the websites and agents we ship are unusually grounded. AI here is not a demo. It is AI-assisted development, agent orchestration, and infrastructure automation on systems we operate.
He also teaches programming, DevOps, and industrial-adjacent computing at Selkirk College - project-based labs where students build, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain live systems, including AI-assisted development. We will not rank engineers against a country. We will say this plainly: when the question is the code itself, this is who we trust to go all the way down.

Principal architect · infrastructure & platforms
Thomas Bereckzy

Fourteen-plus years designing, scaling, and optimizing complex infrastructure and software ecosystems. He works at the intersection of strategic architecture and hands-on engineering - as comfortable with a multi-year platform roadmap as with a production deployment that will not boot.
He has built and nurtured communities of practice around architecture and technical excellence, and has a long record leading geographically distributed teams across time zones. The work is not only diagrams. It is budget, vendors, subscriptions, and the unglamorous financial side of keeping a platform honest.
At EMURGO, the commercial arm of the Cardano blockchain, he architects enterprise-grade infrastructure while managing the company’s technical budget, vendor relationships, and software subscriptions. He recently led a cloud-to-bare-metal migration that cut infrastructure costs by 76 percent - the kind of result you only get if you can still touch the metal.
Previously he served as AVP of Engineering, overseeing the DevOps team, and as Senior DevOps Engineer, where he delivered a zero-downtime migration for the Yoroi wallet backend serving more than 500,000 users. That is production at a scale where “we will fix it in the morning” is not a plan.
Core ground: bare-metal and cloud (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD automation, Node.js and TypeScript backends, blockchain platforms (Cardano, Hyperledger, Stellar), and IT financial management. On his own time he is in the AI/ML trench - LoRA fine-tuning of open-source models and contextual routing layers for efficient orchestration. Fluent in English and Hungarian. Based in Hungary, working remotely with the same shop.

Operations · systems, trust, and relationships
Troy Chartier

Transparent IO
The administrator and organizer of the shop - the person who keeps systems, schedules, and people aligned. A strong communicator, a trust builder, and a relationship manager. Clients often meet him first, and that is by design: the work goes better when someone is listening before anyone is selling.
Troy is vice president and co-founder of Swift Grid, the managed hosting company beside this practice, and account operations at Swift Media. He is the operational backbone: client cadence, follow-through, documentation, and the calm path through a busy week. Organized, approachable, and quick to help - you will find him a chat or a call away.
He holds a NAIT Technology Management degree and has spent more than a decade in IT across oil and gas, real estate, nonprofit, finance, and community organizations. That spread is the point. He translates business pressure into clear technical priorities instead of hiding behind jargon. He learns fast from new situations, and he treats colleagues and clients with the same respect.
He also runs Transparent IO, an IT consulting practice named for honest communication - input and output. In a market full of pitches, he believes people deserve straightforward answers. Too many small businesses, non-profits, and religious organizations struggle with technology decisions because they lack the resources or the map. He acts as the intermediary between good solutions and the fluff that often comes with IT consulting.
The method is simple: education comes first, always. Before a decision, you understand the options, the trade-offs, and what actually fits. No pressure, no upselling - honest guidance. More than six years in ministry work sits beside the IT practice, which is why churches, non-profits, and community groups tend to get a conversation that respects both the mission and the budget. That same posture is how we try to show up for every client.
